Do's and Don'ts With Pinterest Marketing

Why is this important for you to know early on?
Well, every single time I mentioned to certain marketers that there is a way to tap into 175,000,000 users, their first thought is to start "spamming" every user. Not only will it destroy your chances to attract massive traffic to your website, but it will also get your Pinterest account shut down for good.
This allows you to understand the power of Pinterest and how you can avoid the disaster many marketers do to ruin their chances on building their business with Pinterest Marketing. Let's talk about what you shouldn't do with Pinterest...
Mistake #1: Entering the Pinterest world just because everyone is utilizing Pinterest. -- It is similar with trying to get a diamond in the desert which is a waste of time. Remember, even though there are more than 176,000,000 Pinterest users as of now, you still need to enter Pinterest world strategically. Otherwise, you are going to waste your time for sure.
Mistake #2: Not doing enough research. -- Who is your target market? Are they freebie seekers or potential buyers? What is your method on providing solutions? You MUST have these benchmarks before you enter the Pinterest world. Otherwise, you will end up spamming everyone who will most likely block you for good.
Mistake #3: Target everyone who speaks English. -- Assumptions are the keys to disaster. If you want to build your business, you can't just assume everyone needs to lose weight, make money, and have low self-esteem. It is similar with cold calling.
Mistake #4: Focus on following everyone on Pinterest. -- This is a big mistake. Why? It is because NOT everyone will be interested in what you have to say. My point is you have to be specific on the type of audience you would like to attract in your business.
Mistake #5: Focus on Selling To Your Audience, Instead of Building Your Relationship With Them. -- Why is this considered a bad idea? Remember, every time you sell to your audience, people will stay away from you. On the other hand, every time you educate your audience, you will attract them to stop and listen to what you have to say. My point is... Balance between selling your audience and educating your audience on each post.
Mistake #6: Creating your pictures on your own with Photoshop. -- I know as an entrepreneur, we are a perfectionist. In addition, we want to do everything ourselves. The truth is... If you just use a professional designer for just $5 from Fiverr.com, that itself will save you a lot of cash. Plus, they are guaranteed to be more professional than your own version.
Mistake #7: Avoid tracking your links on every post. -- Unless you don't care on wasting your time on Pinterest, you MUST track your links on every image you post. This allows you to know which post gives you the most traffic and which posts are wasting your time. REMEMBER: The more you track, the more you are able to understand what your audience really wants from your business.
Of course, there are other mistakes you should avoid and as you understand the major mistakes I mentioned above, you should realize that the "short cut" the majority of the marketers use will lead into a huge nightmare in the long run for sure. So, it is very CRITICAL for you to understand Pinterest Marketing in great details.
This way, you will avoid a major catastrophe in your business while attract massive traffic to your business.
